Hedgle is a free daily stock market game built around real historical headlines. Read what happened, then predict how much the company’s stock rose or fell over the time shown.

How to play

1. Read the headline, company, and time window.
2. Move the slider to guess the percentage change.
3. Lock in your prediction to see the return, chart, and story behind it.

There are five questions each day. Earn up to 1,000 points per question, or 5,000 per day. The closer your guess, the more points you earn!

A new game starts at midnight, New York time. Your progress is saved in your browser, so you can return later. Finish all five to share your daily score.

Each question links to its historical source and price data. Returns use closing prices and account for stock splits. Good news doesn’t always mean a rising stock, and a headline rarely tells the whole story.
